I had essentially started this blog as a professional one. And I had intended to create another personal blog. But the plan never really came to fruition. I guess I am just too lazy to be able to maintain two blogs and generate posts for two kinds of blogs. So this will be it. I am very sure that none of you out there care a fig whether this was meant to be a professional one, a personal one or even a private one and that’s completely understandable. This is just an explanation to my future self who when reading this blog might wonder why I started writing this trash. So please just bear with me. Thank You kindly.
Introduction
I have been thinking from a long time as to what my first post should contain. But I simply wasn’t able to settle on one option. Today I was taking one of those personality tests on the net and it gave me a very flattering assessment. I don’t know how much of it is true and I wouldn’t put too much store on the results which are not exactly unique and tailored to one’s personality. But it was fun to take the test and much more fun to read the result. And as the result was so flattering I thought there would be no better material than this to put in the first post and also give brief intro about myself at the same time. You can also take the test at mypersonality.info.
According to test, I am an “ENTJ – Chief” type. There are 16 distinct personality types and 4 types each belong to 4 different temperaments. ENTJ comes under the Intellectual temperament and basically is an acronym for – Extraverted, iNtuitive, Thinking and Judging. And this was the complete assessment that they gave me -
ENTJ – The Chief
Extraverted – 74%
Intuition – 79%
Thinking – 68%
Judging – 74%
ENTJs are strategic, organized and possess natural leadership qualities. They are master coordinators that can effectively give direction to groups. They are able to understand complicated organizational situations and quick to develop intelligent solutions. ENTJs are outspoken and will not hesitate to speak of their plans for improvement. They are decisive and value knowledge, efficiency and competence.
ENTJs are natural born leaders. They live in a world of possibilities where they see all sorts challenges to be surmounted, and they want to be the ones responsible for surmounting them. They have a drive for leadership, which is well-served by their quickness to grasp complexities, their ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and their quick and decisive judgments
Now if that isn’t one of the best assessments, I dont know what is. I sincerely hope that all that is true and I do become like some of the famous personalities they have mentioned who are ENTJ types. And please note, those famous personalities includes Bill Gates. Wow! What I wouldn’t give to be someone like him. Well, full marks to that site from my side. I dont know how much of it is accurate. But it certainly made me feel very good. He he.
So there it is – My intro and also my first post. More later.
